Hello! My name is Sarah Garcia, and I am completing my second Bachelor of Science degree in business accounting at Western Governors University. My first Bachelor of Science received from ASU was in Psychology and I am excited to announce that I will begin my Master of Science in Applied Behavioral Analysis at Arizona State University beginning August 2024.
Originally from NWI, Indiana, I now reside in Pinal County, AZ. I am a proud mother of three wonderful children: my eldest son, who is 20 and attending college himself, an 11-year-old son, and a 9-year-old daughter. Our family also includes our beloved pets, Dottie, our loyal dog, and Lucy, our affectionate cat.
I am newly married to my incredible husband, Jordan, who has been my rock and emotional support throughout my educational journey. Before embarking on this academic path, I served in the military as a MOS 36B- Finance Specialist and currently work in the semiconductor industry focused on lithographic technology.
I am incredibly proud and overjoyed to be the recipient of this year’s Sechler Law Firm’s Veteran CEO Scholarship. This honor recognizes my dedication and hard work and fuels my passion to continue excelling in my studies and future career. Winning this scholarship is a significant milestone, and I am deeply grateful for the support it provides as I pursue my academic and professional goals.
