Shane LaBarge

Shane focuses his practice on providing compassionate counsel to families seeking to preserve their legacy. He works closely with each client to design tailored estate plans and ensures they fully understand how their plan protects their assets and loved ones. His practice emphasizes estate planning, elder law, and asset protection. Shane has particular practice experience advising business owners, farmers, and high net worth individuals.

Before joining Sechler Law Firm, Shane practiced at both regional and Global 100 law firms, where he gained broad experience handling complex legal matters. He also served as a law clerk for the United States federal district courts.

Shane earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame. While in law school, he served as Executive Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation and authored Chevron, and Beyond the Infinite: The Judicial and Legislative Challenges to the Administrative State, 44 J. Legis. 107 (2017).

Shane is a native of Moon Township.
