This In-Person Bootcamp will be hosted by Tim Sechler and his Team
on Thursday October 24th, 2023 • 07:30am – 12:30pm
The Bootcamp will be held at Regional Learning Alliance
850 Cranberry Woods Dr, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066
The Bootcamp is geared towards Social Workers, Nursing Home Administrators and Registered Nurses working
with seniors and their families, to enable a smooth transition into a skilled nursing environment.
The presentation will outline basic Estate Planning and Medicaid Planning, so Healthcare Workers
can be a resource to families as they navigate through the process of placing their loved one.
It is important to know and understand the Medicaid process and the ramifications of
applying for benefits for the individual and family.
We aim to:
Educate attendees on the latest rules of Medicaid and long-term care planning,
and how these rules affect their patients.
Educate attendees how to guide seniors in managing the challenges of ageing
to avoid crisis, and be proactive in their own care.
Provide resources for caregivers and family members to gain a better understanding
of how families can plan effectively.
Offer resources on ways to deal with the effects of incapacity and death.
You will receive an email upon registration, and we ask that you register
no later than October 17th, 2023.
The Bootcamp is at no cost to attendees,
but there may be fees associated with accrediting agencies.
